The training provides Relationship Managers (RMs) at Credit Suisse with the necessary knowledge around Balance Sheet (BS) Management so that they understand the key market and regulatory changes impacting BS considerations, the actions that Credit Suisse must take to meet the necessary requirements and how in turn this impacts Credit Suisse daily banking business.
Two pathways are offered to users to cater for the differing levels of knowledge within the audience: A ‘Basic’ course and an ‘Advanced’ course where users get the same content provided in the basic course but also see additional content to enhance their understanding of particular concepts.
Because the content featured lots of charts and graphs to illustrate the impact of Capital and Liquidity regulations on the Credit Suisse balance sheet, the challenge was to find ways to present these onscreen in an accessible and engaging way. We refined the source content to improve the flow and so it was more directly applicable to eLearning. We used audio and animation to drive the learning, with interactive animations used to guide and instruct the learner for the more complex charts and graphs.
The ‘sales challenge’ peppered throughout encourage the learner to think about the impact of the learning on their role and in the bank. Rather than pose these questions on the main screen, we incorporated them as clickable icons that appear to the side of the main screen and used the same icon for all questions so the learner could easily identify them.
